Catching you up

Well, I have only just recently started blogging....on the other site...but I will transfer some things from that other site for ALL to read (all 2 of you)

I have 320 days until graduation.......should I start planning the party now or at least wait another couple months???

Wow, Jen was right...the more that people respond to your blog, the more you feel obligated to write something, even if you have nothing to say. So here is my nothing for the day:
I am studying for the next step of my licensing exam, and I have so much crammed into my head right now that today I tried to use my cell phone to turn on my television. Much to my surprise, I actually dialed a friend instead and couldn't figure out what that voice was that was coming from the remote on the coffee table.....go figure.
I hope that some day I will find room in my brain for the common sense stuff again.

This is me

Well, here goes....
I have had this blog for almost a year now, and I have not yet used it, and this is why: my life is fairly boring. I think it is exciting; I mean, what could be more exciting than medical school??? But I get the feeling that the greater majority of the sane world doesn't share my enthusiasm, so I have refrained from sharing my life.

But I will try and share bits and pieces, things that might not put you to sleep. That is to say, how many times do you want to hear about the 20 patients I see a day in clinic with high blood pressure and diabetes????

I am thinking, now, that I want to do Obstetrics. I cannot begin to describe what it is like to deliver a baby for the first time (though I have never been on the other side of that so I may not think it is a miracle when that time comes). However, that is what I want to do this week....ask me in another week or so and I may have a different answer.
